Azerbaijani Education Minister signs order on "last bell" events in secondary schools

Azerbaijani Minister of Education Misir Mardanov signed an order on the holding of "last bell" events at the comprehensive schools.

The ministry reported that according to the order, the "last bell" event will be held only in the territory of general education schools within 3 hours on May 31, 2011.

Parent committees, parent-teacher associations and community representatives can also participate in the school-leaving events organized by the country’s comprehensive schools.

At the same time Ministry of Education of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Baku City Education Office, Ganja City Education Office, regional (city) education departments were urged to take the necessary measures for the purpose of finishing the organizational works on time and ensure the pupils’ security.
