Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Minister commented on country's chances at Eurovision-2011 contest

Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev spoke out about Azerbaijan's chances at the Eurovision-2011 Song contest.

"It's necessary to prepare with the will to win. The competition at the contest is strong, and our representatives performed well at the semi-final. I hope that we will achieve solid results," the minister told media.

Azerbaijani representatives Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal successfully performed in the first semifinal of Eurovision Song Contest 2011. It was held in Esprit Arena in Düsseldorf.

They successfully performed a song by Swedish authors, "Running Scared." They performed under their stage name "El & Nikki" and were allowed to take part in the Eurovision final on May 14.
