Azeri representatives attend Houston international festival

Delegation of the Culture and Tourism Ministry headed by department chief Firudin Gurbanov, as well as Azerbaijan State Dance Ensemble and mugham performers are participating in Houston international festival.

Within the framework of visit, F. Gurbanov held bilateral meetings with the mayor of Houston City.

Houston Mayor Annise Parker, executive director of the Houston International Protocol Alliance Deanea LeFlore and Houston Council Member Jarvis Johnson have highly appreciated the activity of Houston-Baku brotherhood Cities Association.

The Houston Mayor also thanked the Azerbaijani people for attending the Houston International Festival.

A special program was organized on the 35th anniversary of the brotherhood of Baku and Houston.
