Azerbaijan to have its own pavilion at Cannes festival

Azerbaijan will launch its first ever pavilion at this year's Cannes film festival in France, said culture and tourism minister Abulfaz Garayev.

The pavilion will highlight Azerbaijan-made films and ads. The minister said the launch ceremony will take place on May 14 and will be attended by a large Azerbaijani delegation.

Garayev noted: "Also in France we plan to sign preliminary documents with Jerard Depardieu who will star in Azerbaijan-made films."
