Azerbaijani Diplomatic Academy conducts training for Turkish diplomats

Training "Let’s Learn about the Caucasus" for Turkish diplomats has opened at the Diplomatic Academy of Azerbaijan.

On the first day of the training, Deputy Foreign Minister and Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of Azerbaijan (DAA) Hafiz Pashayev said the joint participation of Azerbaijani and Turkish diplomats will increase mutual understanding between the state agencies, foreign policy diplomats and experts of the two fraternal states, and contribute to the friendly relations, DAA press service told Trend on Monday.

Apart from the DAA-held training, the Turkish diplomats will have an opportunity to meet local governmental officials, scholars and experts on regions, and tour the historic places and cultural centers in Azerbaijan, Pashayev said.

The DAA teaching staff will make reports on Azerbaijan’s foreign policy, economy and priority tasks at this event, which is the first ever joint training for Turkish and Azerbaijani diplomats; in addition, there will be conducted meetings at the Foreign Ministry and the Parliament, and there will be organized trips to regions in Azerbaijan.
