Chairman of Azerbaijan Press Council to attend International Conference in Delhi

Chairman of the Azerbaijan Press Council Aflatun Amashov will participate in the international conference "Freedom of speech and human rights" to be held on April 28-29 in Delhi.

The event organized by the World Association of Press Councils and the Indian Press Council will bring together chairmen of press-councils and outstanding journalists from a wide range of countries.

The conference will feature reports on the current situation pertaining to freedom of press and media-coverage of issues relating to human rights and prospects of development of press.

The conference will also focus on possible expansion of bilateral relations between press councils.
