EU-Azerbaijan relations covered in new book

A book entitled "The European Union and Azerbaijan: towards a strategic partnership" by Elkhan Suleymanov, MP, member of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE and President of the Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan.

The book focuses on the status and scope of the EU–Azerbaijan relationship. The author examines cooperation between Azerbaijan and EU as part of the Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA), energy security, EU's efforts to find positive solution to Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, etc.

The author also expounds his views regarding EU-Azerbaijan Agreement on Partnership and Cooperation, TRACECA, INOGATE, the European Neighborhood Policy initiative, South Gas Corridor project and so on. The book published in Azeri and English includes a wide range of statistics, official documents and photos.
