Official of International Atomic Energy Agency visits Azerbaijan State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patent

Visiting Baku, project manager of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Angei Chupov has met with chairman of the Azerbaijan State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patent Ramiz Hasanov.

The sides discussed cooperation between Azerbaijan and the IAEA.

Andei Chupov noted that the aim of his visit was to discuss the current state of projects implemented within the technical cooperation, project execution plans realized in 2011-2013 and other issues.

He stressed the importance of dosimetric laboratory which would be built under the SCSMP with technical support of IAEA. Andei Chupov also expressed his opinion about the lab.

Ramiz Hasanov underlined governmental support for the construction of the dosimetric lab.

The project was adopted after discussions on the place of dosimetric laboratory, project's details, preparation of laboratory experts, laboratory equipments and other issues.
