Pension of professor retired by 2006 is lower than the pension of the teacher retired after 2006

"The difference between the pensions of persons retired on a pension before 2006 and the persons retired on a pension after 2006 will be eliminated in accordance with the president’s order”, said the Chairman of Milli Majlis Commission on Social Policy Hadi Rajabli.

According to him, the difference between these pensions was 70-100%. After the president’s order, the pensions of persons retired by 2006 will be increased sharply: "This is one of the steps in social protection sphere. I often faced this problem, we faced certain bureaucratic obstacles in this sphere. At last, the president polished off this problem and a serious step on social protection in amount of approximately half million manats was taken. I think the president’s step is courageous and wise. This proves that the human factor is always in the focus of president Ilham Aliyev".

He also noted that, this order would concern to 900 000 of 1 300 000 pensioners.
