Ecology minister explains reason for unusual light in Baku sky

Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources minister Huseyngulu Bagirov said that a solar magnetic storm caused an unusual light in the sky over Baku on Wednesday morning.

An increasing of water ionization in the upper atmosphere created an unusual yellow-red color in Baku’s skies, he told journalists. This natural phenomenon has no implications for human health, he said.
