Azeri scientist awarded in Denmark's prize on neuropathology

Professor of Glostrub Hospital of Denmark and scientific worker of the University of Copenhagen Masud Ashina was awarded "Mogens Fog" prize on neuropathology in 2011.

"Novo Nordisk" foundation granted 2, 5 billion for scientific researches on migraine headache, according to the Azerbaijan State Committee on Work with Diaspora.

"New medicines have been discovered for the treatment of migraine and the production will be carried out soon", Masud Ashina told in his interview to "Annals of Neurolog" scientific journal.

Masud Ashina was born in 1965 in Baku. He graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University. He is author of more than 150 scientific articles and 20 books.
