Azerbaijani citizens used in forced labor in Russia

A group of Azerbaijani citizens was used in forced labor in Russia, Azerbaijan Interior Ministry’s Office for Combating Human Trafficking reported.

As a result of operations conducted by the Office for Combating Human Trafficking, it was identified that a group of Azerbaijani citizens was forced to work in Khangalasskiy, Sakha (Yakutia) of Russian Federation. Details of the incident related to forced labor have not been reported yet.

The investigation is underway.
