Azerbaijan’s Balaken region resident shoots two people

An armed incident took place in Balaken region, Balaken region Police Office reported.

The incident was recorded on April 2, at about 22.00 in Shambul village. Shambul village resident Gadirov Mahammad Ali, born in 1955, came to the house of his fellow villager Bazarova Narzanat Mahammad, drunk and disorderly and began to argue with her.

Bazarova’s sun –Mollayev Murad Ramazan, born in 1985 and neighbor – Amalov Shaban Zeynalabid, born in 1986, were at house during the conflict as well. Mahammad Gadirov threatened Murad Mollayev and Shaban Amalov with Kalashnikov rifle. When the two persons wanted to escape, Gadirov fired after them. As a result of the fire, Amalov received a wound in stomach, Mollayev in ankle.

The wounded were taken to Balaken Central Regional Hospital. At present, they are in grave condition. The offender Mahammad Gadirov was arrested as a result of the operational search actions carried out by Balaken region Police Office officers and police handed over him to the investigation.

Balaken region Police Office reported that some years ago, the offender Gadirov was in civil marriage with Bazarova. Balaken region Prosecutor’s Office has launched a criminal case on the fact, investigation is underway.
