Baku to host Turkish World Mathematical Society's congress

The 4th Congress of the Turkic World Mathematical Society (TWMS) will be held in Azerbaijan`s capital on July 1-3, according to Azerbaijan National Academy of Science (ANAS).

An Organizational Committee, International Program Committee, Advisory Council and Working Group have been created by a joint decision of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Education and ANAS in order to organize the congress.

Chairman of the Organizational Committee including 27 representatives from different countries is Azerbaijan Minister of Education, Misir Mardanov, while Deputy Chairman is academician-secretary of ANAS Department of Physical-Mathematical and Technical sciences Akif Hajiyev.

Chairman of the International Program Committee is Fikrat Aliyev and chairman of the Advisory Council is Hilmi Hajisalioglu from Turkey.

Congress of the Turkic World Mathematical Society (CTWMS) was founded in 1999 in Elazig city, Turkey. Society affiliates mathematicians from Turkish countries – Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, as well as scientists from Russia, China, the USA, France, Sweden and others.

The goal of the organization is to achieve Turkish scientists' integration all over the world, assist them in establishing ties with world`s renowned scientific centers and promote Turkish scientists` recognition in the world.
