High-level seismological map drawn in Azerbaijan

"Azerbaijan does not have satisfactory seismological map. At present, works are carried out in direction of drawing of such map", Chief of Geodynamics and Seismology Institute of ANAS Fakhraddin Gadirov said at the meeting on "Japan quake, Geo-dynamic problems of Azerbaijan".

To him, the main purpose of drawing of seismological map is to decrease the damage inflicted by he quakes: "That is why, we must increase the works. Seismic danger maps, scenarios of quakes must be prepared in Azerbaijan. Geodynamic researches must be conducted even more for determination of areas of tensity".
