Ombudswoman of Azerbaijan meets Chair of Women Leaders' Council

Ombudswoman of Azerbaijan Republic Elmira Suleymanova met with the Chair of the Women Leaders' Council to Fight Human Trafficking at UN, senior member of the British-Irish Inter-Parliamentary Committee, member of the House of Lords and UK-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Baroness Mary Goudie on Wednesday.

Goudie took interest in human rights activities in Azerbaijan, press service of the Human Rights Commissioner said.

At the same time, the guest was informed on the Azerbaijan's Ombudsman Institute's activity.

The Azeri Commissioner provided information on Azerbaijan's Ombudsman Institute's participation in the EU projects, including Twinning and Eastern Partnership projects and expressed her assurance that bilateral relations will developed in the future.

The Chair of Women Leaders' Council highly praised Institute's activity.
