Azerbaijan pledges $1mln in aid to Japan

Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers has decided to pledge 1 million US dollars in aid to quake-hit Japan.

A relevant Cabinet order says the amount should be allocated to the Japanese Government from the Reserve Fund of Azerbaijan's 2011 budget.

The ministries of finance and foreign affairs are charged with dealing with the transfer of the money to Japan's government.
