Novruz celebration was held at the residence of the U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan

A Novruz celebration was held at the residence of the U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan today.
Azerbaijani national sweets were handed out to guests, a holiday fire was kindled, and national children's dance ensembles performed.

Ambassador Matthew Bryza congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the holiday, and said that he is glad to meet Novruz with his family in Azerbaijan.

"Thanks for giving this warmth to us," Bryza said.
