Ministry of Emergency Situations inspects 2973 facilities in Baku

The Ministry of Emergency Situations inspected 2973 facilities in Baku last year, said the government of Azerbaijan in the report to the parliament.

As a result of the inspections, 10 inquiries were sent to the Health Ministry, 10- to the Ministry of Education, 5 – to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, 5- to the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies, 5- to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, 1 – to the Central Bank, 7 – to the Executive Power of Baku City, 8 – to the Azerigas Production Association, 7 – Baku electric network. 17 act-instructions were given for elimination of 108 infringements in the enterprises of Azersu Company to prevent the shortcomings and to observe the technical security rules during the exploitation of water reservoirs, water-cleaners, pumping houses, chlorinating units.

Comprehensive fire security inspections were conducted in more than 75 000 facilities and control measures in more than 58 000 facilities in 2010.
