Reasons of deregistration of 30 religious communities in Azerbaijan made public

814 religious communities addressed the State Committee on Work with Religious Associations issues for registration in 2010, it was noted in the report 2010 of Azerbaijani government submitted to the Parliament.

According to information, 780 from the addressed organizations were Islamic, 34 were non-Islamic. It was reminded in the document that 510 of the religious communities have been registered so far. 493 of them are Islamic, 17 are non-Islamic.

30 religious communities have been unregistered for their harmful activities and non-preparation of documents in appropriate way.
