Baku to discuss Azerbaijani media

The International Federation of Journalists and the Professional Union of Azerbaijani Journalists, with financial support of the EU in Azerbaijan has organized an international conference on Azerbaijani media in Baku, Mushvig Alasgarli, the chairman of the union, said on Tuesday.

The conference on editorial freedom, ethics and transparency in Azerbaijani media to be held in Baku on March 2-3 will bring together editors, local and foreign experts, representatives of the Democratic League of Journalists, the International Eurasia Press Fund and the Coalition of Freedom of Speech and Journalistic Professionalism, in which the Professional Union of Azerbaijani Journalists and the Azerbaijani RUH Committee to Protect Journalists are presented.

The conference will discuss topics such as editorial freedom, ethical issues in media, financial transparency editorials, media and political relations.
