ANAMA destroys over 4 thousand Uxos and mines in January

The Azerbaijan National Mine Action (ANAMA) has cleared 2,280,925 sq. meters area of land from 3,366 Unexploded Ordnances (UXO) and mines in January. ANAMA found 4 tank mines.

Demining operations involved 480 deminers, 6 mechanical demining machines, 37 mine detection dogs. To date, ANAMA has cleared 153,901,843 sq.m. of land, destroying 643, 955 mines and UXOs.

The Agency has carried demining operations in the regions of Beylagan, Tartar, Agdam, Agstafa, Fizuli, Agjabady, Goygol and Garadag district of Baku.
