Young people make 31% of population in Azerbaijan

As much as 2.9 mln persons or 31.4% of Azerbaijani population is youth. According to State Statistical Committee, 53% of them live in cities, 47% - in villages.

The number of babies given birth by young mothers rose 12% with 82% of babies being born in young families. About 23% of divorced people were at young age.
