Azerbaijani entrants given chance to get education in Ukraine

"Azerbaijan has great potential in education sphere. The purpose of Ukrainian delegation's visit is to expand the choice of Azerbaijani entrants. The Embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan is ready to support the Azerbaijani students wishing to study in Ukraine," he said.

The delegation from the Center for International Education of the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science consists of the center's director, Vyacheslav Timokhin, representatives - Ukrainian International Education Center in Azerbaijan Aydin Novruzov, Kiev National University named after Shevchenko - Tatiana Tabenskaya, Medical University named after Gorky - Elena Heydarova and Yevgeny Rozhdenstvensky.

Members of the delegation said that Azerbaijani students can be enrolled in Ukrainian universities for getting education as a bachelor's degree and a master's degree and relevant degrees of medical education, as well as to change the skills and obtain a second higher education. The condition for admission of students is the knowledge of the Russian language and knowledge on subjects in accordance with the selected faculty, participants of the event said.

Novruzov said that foreign students have an advantage over the local ones because they are enrolled in a college on the basis of interviews. It is profitable for students from Azerbaijan to study in Ukraine. He said that there is a high quality education with low tuition, compared to Europe, and an international diploma is given at the end of the education. The situation with the subsistence level can be called favorable in the country, Novruzov said.
