
Scientists at the University of Pennsylvania will join their Azeri counterparts from the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography in conducting a series of archaeological researches in the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan.
Safar Ashurov, a coordinator of the expedition, said they would analyze archaeological findings belonging to the 1st millennium BC, which were discovered in Oghlangala, an ancient settlement in Nakhchivan's Sharur region. The research will take place in June-August.
