The “Kapitan Yevseyev” ship en route from Makhachkala to Baku sank in the Caspian Sea, Morskie vesti reported.

The captain and mechanical engineer were on board the ship. The ship, which left Makhachkala for repair in Baku, was taken in tow by the “Tulen-10” ship.
The “Kapitan Yevseyev” bent dangerously soon after leaving Makhachkala, its sections were filled with water and as a result of it the ship sank. The crew of the ship was taken to the board of the “Tulen-10” and to the coast. There was no fuel or load, no one was injured. The ship caused no damage to environment.
