Azerbaijani Education Minister discusses cooperation issues with Iranian University's rector

Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov discussed cooperation issues in the sphere of education with the rector of Iran's Islamic Azad University, the Education Ministry said.

Misir Mardanov during the meeting with the rector Abdullah Jasbi and Ambassador Mammadbagir Bahrami said that against a background of high level of Azerbaijani-Iranian relations between universities of two countries don't correspond to potential opportunities.

Rector of the Iranian University expressed interest in development of interuniversity relations.

Iran's Deputy Minister of Health Muhammedali Mohagigi after his visit to Baku in early May, expressed dissatisfaction with level of education of Iranian students in Azerbaijan, Iran's Deputy Minister of Health Muhammedali Mohagigi said that his country considers Azerbaijani Medical University's diplomas invalid.
