Azerbaijani Transport Ministry takes steps to prevent floods in Zardab region

Equipment and manpower of the road department of the Ministry of Transport of Azerbaijan, Zardab and surrounding regions have been mobilized for operations to strengthen dams and conduct proactive measures in response to another increase in the level of the Kura River, the Transport Ministry said.

At present, together with residents with other government departments emergency measures are held. The process of delivering the necessary goods to the shore of the Kura River is underway.  Leadership of the Transport Ministry continuously monitors the ongoing works.
