Encyclopedic information book for children published in Azerbaijan

Regional Youth Development Association 'Our generation' has issued the first volume of the encyclopedic information book for children "Azerbaijani art" with financial support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Youth and Sports told Trend.

The book gives information about the ancient history and rich artistic traditions of fine art, the decorative art and architecture of Azerbaijan. The book has been issued for children and has encyclopedic nature. It gives a summary about outstanding masters, whose names are included in the history of Azerbaijani art, samples of art with artistic features. They are famous worldwide. The materials mainly cover the areas of a drawing art, drawing, sculpture, decorative arts and architecture. For the first time the book includes a separate section dedicated to the art of youth and children.

About 2,500 copies of the book "Azerbaijani Art" were released. The book will be given free of charge to libraries and schools of Baku and regions. Honored art figure Ziyadhan Aliyev and young arts critic Aslan Khalilov are authors of the book.
