
Exhibition "Rare artifacts from the museum of the Shirvanshahs'’ Palace" has opened in the Incheri Shahar State Historical and Architectural Reserve in Baku.
Director of the Museum Mikail Jabbarov noted that on the eve of International Museum Day to be marked on May 18 they have carried out extensive work overhauling the Shirvanshahs Palace, upgraded lighting system and installed new observation system in the halls.
Most of the exhibits found during archaeological excavations are ancient carpets exhibited for the first time. The entry to the museum was free on May 10 on occasion of national leader Heydar Aliyev’s birthday. The entry will be free also on May 18, International Museum Day.
