Azerbaijani President joins the Flower Festival in the capital

A magnificent flower festival has been arranged in one of the Azerbaijani capital's central parks to mark the 87th anniversary of the world-renowned politician, national leader Heydar Aliyev.

President Aliyev and his spouse Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva joined the festival arranged at the park in front of the Heydar Aliyev Palace. The President was told that hundreds of Baku residents had been visiting the park since early hours of Monday to enjoy the show, which features millions of flowers brought from different parts of the world.

The President and his spouse toured the park. They visited a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev here. The President and the first lady posed for photographs in front of a big flower-made portrait of the national leader.
