Azerbaijan and Turkish working groups hold meeting on combat offenses in customs

The Azerbaijani National Customs Committee's and the Customs subsecretariat under Turkish Prime Minister's working groups on combating illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and precursors, weapons and ammunition held a regular meeting in Nakhchivan, the committee said.

Heads of delegations Asgar Abdullayev and Arslan Gunler signed the protocol after the meeting. The meeting focused on stepping up efforts to more effectively and efficiently combat crimes in customs sphere.

The sides agree to cooperate in terms of taking measures for closer cooperation and mutual assistance in fighting illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and precursors, weapons and ammunition.
