Azerbaijani prisoners were shown "Vizier of Lankaran khanate" play

Yesterday, at the 6th prison colony in Baku, a "Vizier of Lankaran khanate" play was performed. The staged play is based on the story, written by great Azerbaijani writer Mirza Fatali Akhundov. The Theater of Young Spectator (TYS) actors were set to perform on stage, infront of the prisoners.

Before the play, the prisoners were welcomed by the TYS director Mubariz Hamidov, Deputy Head of colony's educational work department Intigam Aliyev, and Justice Colonel Elman Alishirov.

The play was a part of the cultural project for the prisoners, implemented by the penitentiary system of Azerbaijan, and Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
