Monument of Azerbaijani soldiers in Crimea restored

The monument of Azerbaijani soldiers killed in the battles for Sevastopol during the Great Patriotic War, which was vandalized last year, was completely restored, leader of Azerbaijani Community of Crimea Rahim Humbatov said.

The Congress of Ukrainian Azerbaijanis in Sevastopol conducted innovation work around the monument on the eve of May 9 – Day of Victory. The monument of Azerbaijani soldiers was destroyed last October. The vandals will go on trial this month.
