The delegation of Azerbaijan will visit Israel on May 4 to inaugurate the Heydar Aliyev alley in the city of Hadera.

A memorial plague to national leader Heydar Aliyev will be installed in the alley, which will be located in the Ahad ha-Am street. Hadera is mostly populated by immigrants from Azerbaijan.
The delegation will include chairman of the State Committee for Diaspora affairs Nazim Ibrahimov, MP Yevda Abramov, Head of Mountainous Jews Community Semyon Ikhilov, Head of the Ashkenazi Jews Community Genady Zelmanovich, Vice-President of the Eurasia Jews Congress Matvey Yelizarov, and also media and art people from Azerbaijan.
The international conference “West Asia: media outlets and regional conflicts” will also be organized there by the Azerbaijan State Committee for Diaspora and Azerbaijan-Israel International Association to discuss Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, situation in the Middle East and other flashpoints as well as cooperation between Israeli and Azerbaijani media outlets.
