Russia's Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar expressed his opinion on Jews in Azerbaijan

“I have no doubt thanks to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, as all the Jews in Azerbaijan feel themselves in harmony and peace”, Russia's Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar, participant of the Baku Summit of religious leaders, stated.

“I also visited the Jewish school in Baku. I know the Jewish community enjoys great care and attention in Azerbaijan. I would note the exclusive role of prominent politician Heydar Aliyev in recognition of Azerbaijan as a tolerant country in the world. Praiseworthy is that this policy is currently pursued by President Ilham Aliyev”, he emphasized.
