26 April 2010 [16:30] - TODAY.AZ
There is a need for an Arab-Azerbaijani Cooperation Group, the Turkish-Arab Cooperation Organization president, Muhammad Adil, said.
"As an Arab-Turkish Association, we appealed to the Azerbaijani side to create a group" Adil told Trend in Al-Kuwait today.

One of the reasons for the creation of this cooperation group is the need to bring Azerbaijani regional potential, its economic strength, scientific potential, opportunities in tourism to the attention of Arab scholars, entrepreneurs, historians, he said.

He said that Azerbaijan has an important place not only in the region, but in the Turkic and Islamic world.

Both parties - Azerbaijani and Arabic are working to create this group. But the work must be carried out at the level of ordinary people for this cooperation group to achieve results, he said.
