Heavy rains cause river disasters in Azerbaijani regions

Heavy rains in the Azerbaijani region in the night from April 19 to 20 led to river flooding in the country, the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported.

Short-term flooding occurred on the rivers Shinchay, Talachay, Balakenchay, Mazimchay, Kurmukchay, Ayrichay, Bash Dashagilchay, Zayzitchay, Katekhchay, Garachay, Dehnechay, Gungutchay, Alijanchay, Damiraparanchay and Tikanlichay in the Balaken-Sheki and Oguz-Gabala regions.
