Prices for new holiday destination from to Crete island to be moderate in Azerbaijan

According to director of Silk travel company Shirzad Afandiyev, work is carried out over drawing up tourist packages for tours to Crete island now.

“Journeys will be offered to tourists by means of single tourist package, which will include cost of air travel, transfer and hotel accommodation. The prices will be competitive enough. For example, a service package with three-star hotel will be 600 euros, four-star hotel – 800 euros and five-star hotel  – 1000 euros,” Efendiyev said.

Exact prices will be known after completion of work over tourist packages.

On April 20, representatives of Greek hotels and tourist companies and Azerbaijani travel agencies in Baku announced on the beginning of a new joint project concerning new holiday destination – Crete island.

For this purpose, direct charter flight between Baku and Greek island Crete will function. This flight will be organised for the first time, and it will start to function once a week from  June 12.
