The Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) reported that he genocide that began March 24, 1918 against the Azerbaijanis, led by Shaumian lasted several days. Up to 700,000 people were killed during this period in the Azerbaijani territory. During the March events, Armenians completely destroyed 75 Shamakhi, 122 Guba and 115 Zangazur villages.

"The work done by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and its President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva may serve as an example for NGOs in this direction," she said.
"Apr.22-24, we will hold a presentation of this film in several U.S. cities, Georgia and Turkey on the eve of the Armenian activities in connection with the so-called" Armenian genocide", Eurasian Institute of International Studies president Gunel Pashayeva said.
