Mass fight in one of Azerbaijani restaurants leaves people dead and injured

The incident happened in "Dostlug" restaurant in Shamakhy on the night of April 11-12. The employees of the restaurant scuffled. In the aftermath of the scuffle, Hajiali Panjali Imamaliyev, 45, was knifed and died right on the spot. Elchin Babayev, 20, and Saleh Huseynov , 24, were hospitalized.

Shamakhy police detained Namig Abbasov, 37, who is accused of killing Imamaliyev.

According to initial reports, personal conflict caused the fight in the restaurant.

Shamakhy region prosecutor’s office has launched criminal case on the fact, investigation is underway.
