Landslide threatens to destroy houses in northern Azerbaijan

Landslide ocured in the area of 2 hectares occupied by settlements of Bolabou and Gishlagbut in the village Gulazi, Guba region's executive power said.

As a result, two houses face a threat of destruction. If it continues, other houses can be in an emergency condition.

Work is carried out to resettle inhabitants of damaged houses, the executive power said.

In case of continued landslide, residents will be resettled from other buildings, too.

Landslide in the indicated territory occurred two years ago, executive power said.

Guba is located 170 kilometers outside Baku.
