Russian official: Azerbaijan suffered the least from global financial crisis

Thanks to the successful economic policy, Azerbaijan suffered the least from the global financial crisis, member of the Russian Federal Assembly`s Council of Federation Gennady Burbulis said during his meeting with the Baku Slavic University`s students and teaching staff.

Burbulis spoke of the development prospects of former Soviet countries after they re-gained independence.

He touched upon the main prospects for Russia`s policy.

He also replied to the participants` questions.
