Azerbaijani president sends Independence Day greetings to Ukrainian counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today sent a message of congratulation to President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko on the country`s holiday, Independence Day, AzerTaj state news agency reported.
In the message, Aliyev mentioned successful development of the Azerbaijan-Ukraine friendly relations and cooperation. The president stated that useful cooperation in the international and regional structures raised the level of relations to strategic.

President Aliyev also expressed confidence that the two nations would continue efforts for overall development of relations and deepening of constructive cooperation.

The Azerbaijani president wished Yushchenko good health and success and the friendly Ukrainian people - peace and prosperity.
