Azerbaijan's Council of Press concerned with violation of professional principles in Azadlyg newspaper

"Some materials of Mirza Sakit, recently placed in the Radical column of the Azadlyg newspaper, do not adhere to professional norms, contain thoughts, aimed to abuse honor and dignity, undermine reputation of sociopolitical figures, famous people. This is a serious disrespect towards ethical principles", says the statement.

According to it, the Council has repeatedly passed a decision on the Azadlyg newspaper in connection with the professional violation, voiced its claims and give recommendations.

"The Council of press urges the editorial staff to keep the issue in the focus of attention and avoid further repetition of undesirable cases", says the statement.
