Turkish embassy to Azerbaijan appeals to Prosecutor General's office related to Turkish entrepreneur's case

He said by their request the Turkish embassy to Azerbaijan has appealed to the due structures - Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice and General Prosecutor's Office.

"The requests state the need to release Huseyn Arabul. My defendant has definite problems with health", said Atakishiyev.

Notably, former president of the Barmek company Arabul was detained June 3 on the Red bridge by the officers of the Azerbaijan state border service. On June 4 the Sabail district court of Baku decided to apply a prevention measure of 2 month arrest against Arabul.

He is charged under article 318 (illegal crossing of state border of Azerbaijan) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. Arabul is held in the Bail investigation facility.
