Today the Court of Grave Crimes held a preliminary hearing on a criminal case of members of the organized criminal gang charged with high treason and espionage.
16:20Day.Az reports that the court, which left for discussions, has not yet made it clear whether the court trial will be open or private. Judge Ilgar Murguzov decided to postpone the preliminary hearing for June 10.

Two Lebanese Karaki Ali Mohammed, Nacmaddin Ali Huseynov and Azerbaijani citizens Vidadi Rasulov, Mushvig Amanov, Afgan Babashov and Javid Mammadov are under trial.
They are charged with having links with terrorist organizations Hezbollah, Sepah, arrangement of terrorist acts against the Gabala radar station and the Israeli Embassy in Baku. It will become clear today whether the trial will be open or private.. The Court has quited for discussions.
The aforementioned people are charged under articles 28,214.2.1 (preparation for a terror attack by a terrorist group under prior agreement), 28,214.2.3 (preparation for terror act with the use of firearms), 274 (high treason), 276 (espionage), 318 (passing the guarded state borders of Azerbaijan Republic without a set of documents or bypassing the checkpoint at the state border), 320 (forgery, manufacture or sale of official documents, state awards, seals, stamps, forms, or use of falsified documents), 228 (illegal purchase, transfer, sale, storage, transport or carrying of firearms, component parts thereof, ammunition, explosives and explosive devices), 234 (illegal manufacturing, production, acquisition, storage, transport, transfer or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or precursors) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
