Azerbaijan's Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev notes that he wanted to see his Armenian counterpart at the conference of the Ministers of Culture of the CE member-states in Baku, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

"I wanted to see my Armenian counterpart to discuss the issues, that concern us, at different events, at the conference in Baku. We have been waiting for the Armenian side to respond about the participation till the end, but they refused to", said Abulfaz Garayev Wednesday by results of the conference on intercultural dialogue.
The Minister noted that Armenia was invited by the Council of Europe and "the conduction of the said conference in Baku is also the decision of the Council of Europe".
"Equal conditions of security were created for all conference participants in Baku. I assure you that if the Armenian representative has taken part in the conference, additional security would have been provided for him if needed", said Garayev.
The conference of the culture ministers of the CE member-states was held in Baku on December 2-3. The conference was attended by representatives of 48 states and 12 international organizations.
