Head of Abu Bakr mosque: "Today the situation is that when you support the government, you are called the agent of powers"

He said they demand to open the Abu Bakr mosque.

He considers that the closing of the Abu Bakr mosque is of artificial nature.

According to the head of the mosque, definite persons in powers, making use of the terror act in Abu Bakr mosque, attempt to close their community.

"But the state is not interested in closing our mosque. We have never been against the state. On the contrary, our community supported the statehood, acting against those, who spoke from positions of jihad, therefore, a terror act was committed against our community", said Gamet Suleymanov.

As for the information that the mosque was functioning under support of the National Security Ministry and his being called the agent of the Ministry, he said these are rumors.

"I work only on Allah. I have my faith, which I am advocating. The situation today is that when you start to support the government, you are called its agent", said he and added that the activity of the community was always useful for the state.

"Our mosque is the only one, which holds propaganda and agitation against Islam radicalism. The issue can not be settled by imprisoning a radical. This is not the way out of the situation. After being released, he is more radical. In this issue, it is necessary to hold a correct agitation and propaganda", concluded Suleymanov.
