Court annuls decision to reopen Abu Bakr mosque

He said that Narimanov district court had held a hearing on the suit of Narimanov district police office. Judge Akif Allahverdiyev presided over the process. The plaintiff said they had not received notice of appointment before the recent court hearing, therefore missed it. The police office petitioned for holding court hearing with their participation.

The court granted the petition, canceled its previous decision to reopen Abu Bakr mosque and appointed the next hearing for November 12.

Suleymanov said the court decision was unfair and added that they attend the next hearing.

Narimanov district court passed a decision to reopen Abu Bakr mosque on October 27. Narimanov district police office filed an appeal demanding to reconsider the court decision.
